What form does art take in the virtual world, then? And how does it take advantage of this ad hoc, experimental realm of expression? A blended reality event is predicated on the fusion of reality and virtual reality. While the exhibition receives its corporeal audience, avatars from around the world file (and fly) into the virtual shard of the show. Video of the physical event will be streamed into the virtual event, and vice versa. All that separates the two spaces is an increasingly thin screen... Instructions for virtual attendance:
