In a State of Limbo My college career was initiated first under pretenses of confusion and lack of direction. The radio station was always there, however, my sanctuary in the storm of insecurity and malaise. It was KRTU that introduced me to the field of communications; the department became my home, and for those next three years I would spent countless hours in the famed labrynthine lab, toiling away at whatever varied academic and personal pursuits would arise. During the course of my time at university, I studied theoretical concepts that tapped from practically every field of study in existence. Such is the nature of the beast that is communications. Interests that flowered within the belly of said beast include: Games for the Web Film-Making
... and these would be only a taste of what both academia and my flowering personal interests would throw at me. If I was looking for a focus, then the field that I fell in love with has been both my blessing and my curse. I'm a generalist, and as a result, my interests are highly varied. When I enlisted as a communications major, it quickly became apparent that I was immersing myself into a cornucopia of interests that would put me very much in the kid-in-candy-store position. My weekly radio show for 4 years running soon donned the very appropriate title In Limbo. If I began my college education in the midst of confusion and uncertainty, then the state that I leave school in has brought me full circle. Only now, I operate under organized confusion; my interests have expanded and flowered, and I want to pursue those interests abroad.
My dominant interests lie in the realms of video editing, audio synthesis/engineering/editing, radio hosting/programming, game development, web development, as well as literary/multimedia investigation within the realm of propaganda analysis and game studies primarily. I suppose these interests would fit collectively into the realm of New Media That is where my passion lies.
